Jordan Dietz

I'm a hard person to describe due to the sheer number of things I get involved in. 

Having worked as the General Manager of a water district, a highly-trained technician working for a local sanitation district, an infrastructure project engineer and the owner of my own contracting firm, I have experienced project lifecycles from every vantage point.

 

Thanks to these roles, I have had the chance to design and manage a district-wide SCADA integration CIP, assist with construction planning and review for Public & Private agencies, manage subcontractors, consultants and seasonal assistants, and manage the upgrades and deferred maintenance of a district's electrical and electronic infrastructure. I have been responsible for meeting State regulations, reporting accurately and timely to regulators, interacting with utilities and negotiating on behalf of my employees, and even preparation for duties managing public information in times of disaster.

With my passion for learning I have continued to extend my education as often as possible. This includes local agency certifications, safety certifications, a Bachelor's degree, State licenses and manufacturer certifications. I can often be heard repeating that the day I stop learning is the day I'll die. My fascinations in this world are limitless.

Outside of my professional career, I have enjoyed building my own home.  As an aspiring audiophile, I can often be found behind my headphones or speakers, rebuilding and enjoying all of my audio devices and lost in my own head.
